Welcome to Holdingford Secondary School! We are proud to be part of a community that values education, supports one another, and is committed to helping every student succeed. The strength of our school lies in the partnerships among our students, families, staff, and community members, all working together to create a positive and supportive environment where students are encouraged to learn, grow, and achieve their goals.
At Holdingford Secondary, we take academics seriously. Our dedicated educators work tirelessly to provide engaging, rigorous learning experiences that challenge students to think critically, solve problems, and prepare for success beyond high school. We hold high expectations for our students while providing the support and encouragement needed to help every learner reach their full potential.
We also believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. Through athletics, activities, fine arts, leadership opportunities, and service experiences, students develop confidence, teamwork, creativity, and resilience. These opportunities allow students to discover their passions, build meaningful relationships, and develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

High School Open House Information
August 26th, 2026
7th Grade Orientation | 4:00 - 5:00 PM
Letters will be mailed out the first week of August to all incoming 7th graders and their families containing information regarding Open House.
**Only 7th graders will be allowed to take their pictures and get chromebooks during this time. (All upperclassmen will have to wait until 5:00PM)
8th - 12th Grade Open House | 5:00 - 7:00 PM
Grades 8-12 will receive an email and/or a Skylert with an invitation to Open House in the beginning of August. This email/Skylert will contain chromebook pick up times. At Open House, students will be allowed to take their school pictures, get chromebooks, put supplies in their lockers, and meet with teachers.
