Health Services

The goal of school health services is to maintain and promote physical and emotional health to maximize student learning.

These pages have been created for the convenience of parents of children in Holdingford schools and include information about school health policies, forms, general health information and resources.

Health Services in Holdingford Public School are coordinated by a Licensed School Nurse (LSN). The LSN is assisted by a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).  The services provided by Health Services staff members:

  • Administer first aid and emergency care
  • Administer medications as needed.
  • Assess individual student health and developmental status
  • Promote and maintaining the health and well-being of all students
  • Develop and execute health plans for students with a health condition
  • Provide nursing treatments
  • Coordinate prevention and control of communicable disease
  • Participate in health education
  • Recommend new and updated health policies

If you cannot find the information you need on these pages or would like to talk to a member of the Health Services staff, feel free to contact the building nurse at your child's school.
